BHARAT: This is when Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will shoot for the last schedule!
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s period drama, Bharat, is almost nearing its completion. From Malta to Mumbai to Punjab, the team has shot in some extensive locations with grand sets erected for amazement and authenticity. Now, both Khan and Kaif are all set to shoot the film’s last schedule from January 4, 2019, and it will happen in Mumbai’s Film City Studio. This schedule will also include actor Sunil Grover, another crucial member and the shoot will continue for over 26 days.
A source shed some more light on the same and said, “Some remaining major sequences and a song will be filmed during this final schedule. Once the shooting wraps by the end of January, Ali Abbas Zafar and the team will move to its post-production and VFX work. Since the story spans over a period of 70 years and has many historical references, the film requires a lot of VFX which will ultimately take a long time.”
It continued, “Also, a crucial part of the film showcases Salman in his late 20s and for that, the makers are using age-reduction technique. This itself is a hard process and requires enough time.” Another source from the film said, “Bharat is a well-researched and exceptionally well-written film. Ali Abbas Zafar is leaving no stone unturned to make it the biggest cinematic offering. Original stem engines, costumes and arts have been used for the shoot to make sure the film gives the feel of that era.”
Hope the film lives up to the mammoth expectations!
