Bharat: Is Priyanka Chopra COMPETING with Deepika Padukone?

One of the most awaited films of 2019 is Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming directorial venture, Bharat, which is being front lined by Race 3 star Salman Khan and our Desi girl, Priyanka Chopra, who are joined by a host of other talented stars from the Indian entertainment industry, such as Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and many more.

But, has anyone wondered as to what is Bharat’s leading lady PeeCee is being paid? One would expect that after creating ripples in the west with her two Hollywood movie outings and a once-upon-a-time hit crime drama television series, Quantico, she must have come at a fortune, right?

And a fortune is what she exactly and allegedly took!

A source was claimed saying, “Priyanka’s team had quoted Rs. 14 crore given her current market rate, but, abiding by industry standards, she was given Rs. 12 crore,”

For those who are wondering as to how does Deepika Padukone exactly come into the picture, reportedly, the Padmaavat star also took the same amount of cash home for her last Sanjay Leela Bhansali outing, which meant that she took the biggest chunk of the Padmaavat production money home out of its three leads of the film and also made her the highest paid actress in the country.

Now, it’s quite possible that PeeCee’s team allegedly quoted the amount that they did based on the Quantico star’s going rate. What’s also possible is that the figure could have been quoted based on the market rate of the highest paid actress on her home ground.
