Arjun-Shraddha will have an 18-minute long song in Half Girlfriend

2017 clearly seems to be a year where the music composer Mithoon and Director Mohit Suri want to make history! Buzz is that the composer is about to record an 18-minute long theme song for the Arjun Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Half Girlfriend (Wait, What?). These songs are a compilation of the poems written by the Galliyan Lyricist Manoj Mutanshir. We respect your work Mr. Mutanshir, but an 18-minute song for a film theme is a wee bit too long, no?

Here’s how all of it went down. Manoj Ji recited his poems at a concert, which was heard by director Mohit Suri. He then approached Manoj Ji and Mithoon. Soon, Mithoon became in charge of compiling the song with his own bits. The voice behind the song is going to be B-town’s favorite romantic crooner Arijit Singh. Well, we hope that this super long number doesn’t become a bit too much of Arijit Singh in one go.
