The Gokhale Bridge of Mumbai, situated on the SV Road, collapsed yesterday at 7:30 am and left the Mumbaikars in a state of shock and panic. The city’s residents are questioning the infrastructure and also the Bombay Municipal Corporation. The bridge that connects the Andheri East and Andheri West stations is used by thousands of commuters daily. But due to this unfortunate collapse, the train services at the station have been shut for the day.
Amidst such a sensitive situation, actors like Frahan Akhtar and Shraddha Kaooor have come out and expressed their concerns for the citizens and also raised questions on the current state of the city. Have a look right here what the Rock On 2 stars, along with other actors, had to say on the issue:-
Andheri bridge collapse is yet another reminder of how pathetic Mumbai’s infrastructure is. For a city that gives so much to the exchequer, we deserve better, if not best. #shame

Hopefully, the BMC officials should see this as a wakening call and improve the infrastructural facilities of the city.
