Kangana Ranaut is the personification of strength, beauty and, as we all know, she is someone who has never been shy of speaking her heart out or revealing details from her past. And now, the Manikarnika star has done it again as she has opened up about her childhood, the details of which are a bit disturbing but makes us respect Miss Ranaut even more!
While speaking to a leading daily, she opened up on her past and how that has shaped her by saying, “Everything I have been through has made me the person I am today. But when I was very young, a minor, I was subjected to physical violence and exploitation. That shouldn’t have happened. But when I look back, I feel that the person I am today is the result of the strength, wisdom and kind of understanding of myself and my character, which was brought about at a young age being subjected to such extreme circumstances.”
To which, she added that, “It is the result of extreme pain and humiliation that I had to go through. I think if I had to exchange that with someone else, I would rather have that experience. I wouldn’t want anyone to go through physical abuse.’
This really made us teary-eyed. What about you?
