Amyra Dastur & Rishi Kapoor bond over their common love for social media

Amyra Dastur has been busy shooting for Prasthanam and will soon be heading out to shoot her web series, Trip 2 in which she replaces Lisa Haydon. The actress has been on a roll with some big announcements like bagging the lead alongside Rajkumar Rao and Kangana Ranaut in Mental Hai Kya and her film with Rishi Kapoor, Rajma Chawal, is gearing up for its release.

The actress who plays a rebellious girl in the film will be acting alongside Anirudh Tanwar and Rishi Kapoor in this Leena Yadav film. During filming for Rajma Chawal, Amyra and Rishi Kapoor became social media friends. Both the actors who have such diverse personalities both on and off social media seem to hit it off discussing Twitter and all the Twitterati who Rishi Kapoor never shies from talking about. Amyra who talks about environmental sustainability, animal adoption and fitness has a huge following on Instagram. Between the two they discussed tweets, photos and what works best for their online audience. She said “Rishiji has told me to use my social Media Handles as a way to express myself and to inspire those following me by standing up for myself and my principles. He told me that as celebs, we have a responsibility to bring awareness to our followers and fans about social issues in our country and use social media as a tool to change some of the backward thinking social morals we are facing today.”
