Alia Bhatt auctions off her wardrobe to support a cause!

As we all know, Alia Bhatt launched her new philanthropic initiative named ‘Mi Wardrobe is Su Wardrobe’ (My Wardrobe Is Your Wardrobe) last May. Through the initiative, she sells handpicked garments from her personal wardrobe, for charity. Now Alia is again auctioning a part of her closet through an online platform in the 10th edition of the Daan Utsav, commencing on 2nd October and many celebrities and sportsmen are a part of it.

Talking to a leading daily, Alia said, “I call it ‘Mi Wardrobe is Su Wardrobe’. I have done it once before, at a night market, and everything was sold out in an hour. This time, it is open globally, Now that I have started Co-exist, I constantly think about how I can help the environment.”

The actress further added that the profit collected from the auctions will go to The Corbett Foundation, an India-based not-for-profit organization that works with local communities to protect wildlife.

A fantastic initiative indeed, we must say!
