Akshay Kumar’s ‘Jolly L.L.B 2’ in legal soup with this shoe brand!

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Jolly L.L.B 2’ is all set to release next year. The trailer of the film is fun filled and we can’t wait. However, the trailer might have landed the makers of the film in a legal soup.

As per a report in a leading daily, a popular shoe company, Bata has sent a legal notice to the makers of the movie for defamation and commercial mocking. This particular scene in the trailer has created the legal stir where Annu Kapoor’s character in ‘Jolly LLB 2’ criticized the shoe brand (Bata) as it is mentioned for its cheap pricing. The notice sent by the company specifies that the dialogue is a deliberate attempt to ruin its reputation as Akshay Kumar is also the brand ambassador of ‘SPARX’ which is the rival brand of ‘Bata’.

A notice has been sent to the makers of ‘Jolly LLB 2’ to take down the trailer with the argued dialogue from internet as well as the theatre prints. The shoe brand wants the makers to have a disclaimer that the shoe company was mentioned in the scene by mistake in both the trailer as well as the film.

The director of the film, Subhash Kapoor said, “The producers will talk about it, I’m not authorised to.”
