Ajay Devgn to play a blind man in remake of ‘Oppam’!

After proving himself as a successful director, Ajay Devgn is all set to pull a ‘Daredevil’ in his upcoming flick. The actor is joining Priyadarshan for the remake of this year’s hit, ‘Oppam’ where Ajay will be essaying the role of a blind lift operator who gets trapped in a murder case, while the real killer is looking to destroy his life.

A source close to the project said, “The last time both had worked together was in Aakrosh (2010) and Tezz (2012). Priyan had Akshay in mind for the role, but the actor is busy till 2018. He narrated the role to Ajay who has liked the script. He will play the protagonist and the role of a blind lift operator (played by Mohanlal in the Malayalam film). Oppam had made more than Rs 50 crores at the BO. Interestingly, Ajay has acted in the Hindi remake of Mohanlal’s Malayalam hit Drishyam.”

Sadly, all the films that Ajay and Priyadarshan did together were duds at the Box office. We hope this movie breaks the curse for these two!
