CONFIRMED! Akshay Kumar- Rajinikanth’s 2.0 to hit the screens in January

Recently Akshay Kumar preponed the release of his movie Padman to January 25th, 2018. As Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth’s magnum opus, 2.0 was also slated to hit the screens on the same day there were speculations that it might get postponed to 13th April 2018.

Now the producer of the film have given a final word on the whole situation. Raju Mahalingam, the Creative Head of Lyca productions while speaking to a leading website said “As of now, the release date of 2.0 is January 25. No change in that.”

Well looks like this January there will be Akshay V/S Akshay at the box office!

Akshay’s character in both the films are way different than each other. In 2.0 he will be seen playing an evil badass scientist Dr. Richard an ornithologist who turns into a crow after a flop experiment. While Padman is a biopic based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a small town entrepreneur from Tamil Nadu. He invented low-cost sanitary napkins to create awareness in rural areas. Along with Akshay, the movie will also star Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in the lead.
