Ajay Devgn: There has to be a limit to humour
The news of Tannishtha Chatterje having faced racist remarks on ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ took the internet by storm. She expressed her anger and hurt via a Facebook post. After her thoughts went viral on social media, Colors channel apologized to the actress for the lewd remarks made on her skin-tone on the show.
When Ajay Devgn, who is the producer of Tanishtha’s film ‘Parched’ , was asked about his thoughts on the issue, the ‘Shivaay’ actor said that there should be a limit to this kind of humour. He said, “There has to be a limit. I can’t really talk about it as I have not seen it. But sometimes sense of humour goes overboard but there has to be a limit. Everyone has a sense of humour even we do. We accept jokes on us also. But there needs to be a limit. The mind set needs to be changed.”
Meanwhile the host of ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’, Krushna Abhishek has blamed Tannishtha for blowing the issue out of proportion. “Tannishtha is going overboard. She is doing this for publicity,” he said.
