2.0 to clash with Baaghi 2 and Manikarnika at the box office

After a long wait, the makers of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 revealed the release date of the film. The film is all set to hit the screens on April 27, 2018. We had earlier reported that the magnum opus 2.0 will clash with Hollywood, Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War.

Well apart from this 2.0 will even clash with Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani’s Baaghi 2 and Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The film is a historical drama and will be based on the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi.

2.0 is one of the most awaited films of 2018 and is even made on a huge budget of over Rs 400 crore. While Baaghi 2 and Manikarnika also have a mass appeal. But the magnum opus will surely have a great effect on both the films at the box office.

However, with some not so good clashes in 2017, we hope the makers of Baaghi 2 and Manikarnika shift the release date to avoid the clash.

The Rajinikanth starrer has already grabbed a lot of attention with their unique promotional strategies. The makers even had a grand music launch in Dubai.

2.0 will feature Rajinikanth reprising the role of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti while Akshay Kumar will be seen playing an antagonist in the film.
