OUT NOW: Official Trailer of Farhan Akhtar’s Lucknow Central!

After the first look posters, the makers of Lucknow Central have released the trailer of the film. Inspired by true events, the movie tells you the story of Kishen Mohan Girhotra (played by Farhan Akhtar) a young man who belongs to Moradabad, a city in Uttar Pradesh. One fateful day, Kishen gets arrested for a murder case which lands him in Lucknow Central Jail where he’s awaiting his High Court trial for a death penalty. Meanwhile, Diana Penty aka Gayatri Kashyap, who plays a diligent NGO worker is forced to form a Band of Prisoners for the band contest which is to be held in the dreaded jail of Lucknow Central that year.

The story then shows Kishen’s gruesome experiences in jail and how the band becomes an important part of his life.

Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Nikkhil Advani, Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani. Lucknow Central also stars Gippy Grewal, Ronit Roy, Deepak Dobriyal, InaamUlHaq and Rajesh Sharma.

The film is slated to release on 15th September 2017.
