1. Jim Sarbh(Padmaavat)

Jim Sarbh played the role of Malik Kafur, a slave who will do anything for his king. His raw human emotions were really loved by the critics but it still deserved a lot more from the audience.

2. Harshvardhan Kapoor (Bhavesh Joshi Superhero)

Yes! Harshvardhan Kapoor makes it to the list. His movie Bhavesh Joshi Superhero was not appreciated by the audience but his acting skills were top notch. He deserved more appreciation.

3. Ishaan Khatter (Beyond The Clouds)

He is the younger step-brother of Shahid Kapoor. 2018 saw Ishaan in 2 movies Beyond The Clouds & Dhadak. His performance in Dhadhak was loved by the audience but his performance in the Beyond The Clouds was not appreciated by the audience. He also won the best actor award at Bosphorus film festival.

4. Avinash Tiwary (Laila Majnu)

Avinash Tiwary a relative newcomer made his Bollywood debut with Laila Majnu. The movie failed to dazzle the audience because of its story. But it also gave us a fine actor in the form of Avinash Tiwary. He played the role of Majnu a man who succumbs to the madness of love to perfection.

5. Rajkummar Rao (Omerta)

2018 has been Rajkummar Rao’s year. His movie Stree was the sleeper hit of the year and his performance was very much loved. But it was for his role in Omerta which deserves more credit.
