Hrithik, John, Tiger or Salman Khan, who has the best body in Bollywood?
Back in the 70’s, Dharmendra became one of the earliest actors to take off his shirt and flaunt his well-toned body. And then, in 1998, Salman Khan danced to the tunes of O O Jaane Jaana shirtless and gave Hindi Cinema and the nation a song and a body to cherish forever. Gym memberships doubled that year and he left the door ajar for more such aspiring actors to effortlessly flaunt their chiseled abs. Hrithik Roshan being the first in the list with his smash debut in 2000, Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai.
The list is endless, but let’s pick out four actors from the industry who have a body to envy and die for:-
1. Salman Khan
As mentioned above, this was the man who reinvented the idea of shirtless heroes, and gave inspiration to dozens of aspiring actors. Even today, his six-pack abs and well-toned body can give the younger lot a run for their money.
2. Hrithik Roshan
Roshan was trained under the guidance and shadow of Salman for his debut film. However, the biggest of critics have felt that HR has outshone and overpowered Bhai in terms of fitness and muscles. Be it Kites or Krrish 3 or Bang Bang, just like Salman, filmmakers don’t miss any opportunity to make him take off his shirt and make the audiences go weak in their knees.
3. John Abraham
His debut film, Jism, in 2003, was more about the sexuality of its leading man and less about the plot he was thrown into. Mahesh Bhatt rightly tapped into the appetite of the audiences and unabashedly served sex and sexiness on the silver screen with great box-office collections. Hindi Cinema was ready to welcome another hero who’s physique overpowered his performance. And we can’t recall the last film of Abraham where all his clothes, particularly his shirt, were permanently attached to his body.
4. Tiger Shroff
He’s a gymnast, so ought to have a shape of a perfectionist. The man can fly, kick, beat and rip that shirt apart at the drop of a hat. Baaghi and Baaghi 2 may not have highlighted the actor’s acting skills, but gave the viewers all the reasons to illicit catcalls and wolf-whistles, thanks to his flexible body and perfect muscles that did most of the talking. He’s even regarded as the modern day Bruce Lee. The Tiger shall roar in the future and that too very loud!
