1. No Formal Training

Unlike most of the singers in the country, she didn’t go through any formal training in music or singing, yet managed to garner appreciation and applause for her songs and voice.

2. Life Before Films

Her life before her big ticket to Bollywood was singing bhajans and aartis, yes, that’s right! She used to sing at multiple religious events!

She has sung for all the biggies in the industry, right from Kangana Ranaut to Deepika Padukone, but she has a dream of singing for Madhuri Dixit.

She launched her debut album, with music composed by the Meet Brothers, in 2008, called Neha- The Rock Star.

5. The Big Bollywood Debut

Her big Bollywood debut happened in 2012, with Homi Adajania’s Cocktail, and the song she sang in the film was Second Hand Jawani, which became quite a rage.
