Aamir Khan, SRK or Akshay Kumar, who will give the biggest hit of 2018?

Aamir Khan’s Thugs Of Hindostan, Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 are three of the most awaited Hindi films of the year. Given how successful 2018 has turned out to be for the Hindi film industry, unlike the disastrous and entirely forgettable 2017, we may not be surprised if these massive and mammoth films create and break records left, right and center. But what makes them keenly awaited? Let’s find out:-

1. Thugs Of Hindostan

You have Aamir Khan coming up almost two years after Dangal, he teams up with the Shahenshah of Hindi Cinema, Amitabh Bachchan, for the first time. The film is being produced by Yash Raj Films and is all set to release on Diwali 2018. It’s reportedly the most expensive film to come out of YRF, and given how anticipated the film is in the trade, expect a hurricane at the box-office.

2. 2.0

Now this is something that has been awaited for years and years and years! S. Shankar teased us with a glimpse of his most ambitiously mounted adventure back in 2016, and the makers even confirmed Diwali 2017 as the release date, but it failed to see the lights of the day. Finally, we’ll see the whole iceberg on November 29, 2018, when Akshay Kumar and Superstar Rajinikanth collide on the celluloid in Indian Cinema’s costliest film!

3. Zero

We are a bit worried about Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero. Unlike the two aforementioned films, Zero has to face not one or two but as many as four films on the 21^st of December. Anupam Kher’s The Accidental Prime Minister, Riteish Deshmukh’s Mauli, Aquaman and Alita: Battle Angel. To top, SRK hasn’t had the kind of success he effortlessly enjoyed till the 2013’s Chennai Express. Fan and Jab Harry Met Sejal failed to strike a chord with the audiences despite showcasing a SRK we seldom saw before. With Zero, the actor attempts another brave character and hopefully, it should pay off this time!
