5 SUPERHIT behind-the-scenes family pairings!

It’s not uncommon to see real-life related duos on screen together in Bollywood. But, it’s also interesting to see and know that there are in increasing number of members from the same family who are working together behind the cameras and have in fact become rather successful at doing so!

These duos have, in recent times, managed to churn out some really great work together while working behind the scenes and we think that these pairings are surely worth a mention.

So, Lets’ take a look at the duos in the family that are work buddies too.

Rhea Kapoor – Anil Kapoor

This father – daughter duo head a production house together, which is known as the Anil Kapoor Film Company. The production house has produced films like Khoobsurat, Gandhi My Father and No Problem. Next in their pipeline is Veery Di Wedding, which also stars Sonam Kapoor along with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhasker.

Nitesh and Ashwini Iyer Tiwary

The husband – wife duo have worked together for Bareilly ki Barfi. While Ashwiny has directed this Ayushmann – Kirti starrer film, husband Nitesh Tiwary has written the story. Interestingly, the latter had also directed the Aamir Khan-starrer mega blockbuster Dangal and had also co-written Ashwini’s debut directorial venture, Nil Battey Sannata.

Vikram Bhatt – Krishna Bhatt

Krishna Bhatt has recently directed her father, the celebrated filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, who’s the lead actor in her directorial debut, a digital show called Untouchables, under their production banner called Loneranger. Krishna Bhatt is also the creative head of the company which is led by her father.

Anushka Sharma – Karnesh Sharma.

The gorgeous Anushka Sharma (Oops, now with a Kohli at the end of it!) co-owns her maiden production banner, titled Clean Slate Films along with her brother, Karnesh Sharma. Together, they have produced films like NH10 and Phillauri, both of which starred Anushka Sharma. Up next from the young and dynamic production banner is Pari, a film which looks promising enough to re-define the horror genre for good.

Sanjay Dutt – Manyata Dutt

Manyata Dutt is the CEO of Sanjay Dutt’s production house, named as Sanjay Dutt Productions. Rascals is one of many films that have been produced under this banner.
