Taapsee Pannu in a movie adaptation of Shiv Aroor’s book?

Shiv Aroor recently announced the release of his first novel ‘Operation Jinnah‘ which is a military Special Forces thriller. With the release of the book, people started talking on social media about the similarities between the girl on the cover and Taapsee Pannu.

We have already seen Taapsee as the female lead in action thrillers before and now there are speculations whether she is starring in the movie adaption of the book. The author and the actress recently had an exchange of words on Twitter regarding the same, hinting the audience for a possibility of a movie in the making. We have seen Taapsee doing some authentic action sequences in Neeraj Pandey‘s ‘Baby‘, and then in a full-fledged role in ‘Naam Shabana‘ in March this year. If ‘Operation Jinnah‘ is in talks, it will be the first time for a Bollywood actress to play the in three back-to-back action movies.

Operation Jinnah is about a girl kidnapped by Pakistani terrorists as the Indian prime minister plays a delicate game of politics with Pakistan’s prime minister to get his daughter back. It will be interesting to see if there will be a movie adaptation of the book with Taapsee and a delight to experience a real action-packed performance yet again from her.
