Kartik Aaryan replaces Aditya Roy Kapur in the movie based on IIFA

International Indian Film Awards or IIFA has now ventured into to making a film based on the IIFA, which will be a fictional story based on the awards show. The movie is said to be produced by Vashu Bhagnani.

We were amongst the first ones to break the news that Aditya Roy Kapur had backed out of the film based on the prestigious IIFA Awards due to severe date issues.

According to previous reports, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh were roped in for the lead roles. But now, new reports suggest that Kartik Aaryan (Pyaar Ka Punchnama series and Guest Iin London) is replacing Kapur in the movie in question.

The film is said to be centered around the IIFA award show and will be a full-length feature film which is going to be released in theaters and will be shot in New York immediately after IIFA 2017 for the next 25 days.

Word on the street is that a lot of established celebs will make a guest appearance in this film.

Kartik is all set to join the team very soon and start shooting for the same.
