Salman rubbishes media rumours about returning 55 Crores for Tubelight!

Salman Khan, the Bhai of Bollywood is known to have a big heart – His company, Being Human is a testament to that. Everyone loves him for his humanitarian nature and kick-ass acting skills. But his most recent outing titled Tubelight made everyone love him a little less. The film failed to rake in the money expected and also did not successfully impress the audience.

Most of Salman Khan’s films like Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo did extremely well at the Box Office, but Tubelight failed to bring in even half the numbers that these films brought in. Hence, the distributors were left with a big loss as they counted on Tubelight to churn out big box office numbers too – but since this couldn’t happen Salman Khan has decided to pay them back from his pocket.

Rumours were rife that Salman will return 55 cores to the distributors but in fact, 55 crores is just a number that the media made up. Our Khabri Keeda tells us that the real deal is that both Salman Khan and his Salim Khan will be paying the money on one condition. Both father and son will see the numbers brought in until the end of July and will then take a call mostly by the first week of August.

They are going to check how much money was invested, how much many was made via ticket collections and other manners in which money came in – and only then take a call on how much needs to be paid back to anyone who has incurred a loss.
