Has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan said NO to Kriarj for another film?

We all are aware now that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be next seen in Kriarj’s Fanne Khan, also starring Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. There were reports that the Devdas actor was also collaborating with the production house for the remake of the 1964 classic, Woh Kaun Thi?. However, after recent reports of  its non-payment of dues and allegations by John Abraham pertaining to his film Parmanu, Aishwarya has developed cold feet and is reluctant to do another film with them.

Aishwarya was the first choice of KriArj for the Woh Kaun Thi? remake and we reported earlier how the production house’s Arjun N. Kapoor was planning to launch himself with the film, but after the public mud-slugging between John Abraham and KriArj, it seems Aishwarya won’t say yes for their next film. If these reports are true, both Arjun N. Kapoor and Prerna Arora have to look for a new leading lady.

A production house that started with bang and delivered three consecutive successes with Rustom, Toilet- Ek Prem Katha and PadMan, is now in the news for not so right reasons. Hope they come back on the track soon and give us some genuinely entertaining and thought-provoking films.
