Akki’s Padman to get a Republic Day 2018 release!

We have already reported that Akki’s next with R Balki Padman is based on an inspirational story of Arunachalam Muruganantham who is also known as India’s ‘Menstruation Man’ and the movie will be out soon!

Further adding to the information KK just gave us, Akki’s Padman is due for release around Republic Day 2018.

KK also says that the movie might be Tax-free as it covers a sensitive issue but we still don’t have a confirmation about it.

The film is based on a truly inspiring and extraordinary story of Arunachalam Muruganantham who is also famously called India’s Menstruation Man. Mr Muruganantham who hails from Tamil Nadu invented low-cost sanitary pad making machines and created awareness about the traditional menstruation mechanisms on the grass root level.

So, this Republic Day forget Batman or Superman, just enjoy seeing our desi superhero Padman, #LOL!
