Anil Kapoor and family have been synonyms with India’s Bollywood scene. The Kapoor family houses evergreen icons such as Sridevi, Boney Kapoor and, well who can forget, the Nayak of the family Anil Kapoor himself! When one thinks of Anil Kapoor, you cannot miss out the ones who have been keeping up with the Kapoor legacy such as Arjun and Sonam Kapoor too.
Although everyone has their own pace and time, we can expect that there will be a few descendants who will have a late take-off. Such as the newest B-town entrant from Anil Kapoor’s side of family, Harshvardhan Kapoor. Post the debacle of last year which is popularly known as Mirzya, Harshvardhan Kapoor has been attempting to go down the biopic route. He and his daddy’s choice of personality is none other than ace shooter, Abhinav Bindra.
Our Khabri Keeda drops by with the scoop that there are apparently none, not even the Los Angeles-based production house CAA Kwan, who is buying the idea of the Mirzya actor playing Bindra and Anil Kapoor playing his on-screen father. The buzz is that the proposed budget is rather unrealistic. The script is being pitched to all well known production houses, but they are all looking at the script with a degree of reluctance.
So what is causing so many bumps and pauses in Harshvardhan’s route to stardom? Is the budget proposed truly an unrealistic one, or has Mirzya left a long lasting black mark in Harshvardhan’s ledger?
