Priyanka Chopra pays her condolences on the latest New York terror attack

The busiest city in the world became the latest victim of terror attack wherein at least eight people were killed and about a dozen more were injured. Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who is currently in New York shooting of her show Quantico shared that the attack took place just five blocks away from her home.

She tweeted, “Nyc. As resilient as ever. I Love u. My condolences to everyone affected by this tragedy. This happened 5 blocks from my home, As I drive back home from work, Dreary sirens remind me that this is the state of the world #nyc #peace.”

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said at a news conference, “Based on the information we have at this moment, this was an act of terror and a particularly cowardly act of terror aimed at innocent civilians.”

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra might star opposite Aamir Khan in Salute which is a biographical drama based on the astronaut Rakesh Sharma.
