We know the title of Varun Dhawan and Shoojit Sircar’s next!

Varun Dhawan seems to be on a roll! The actor has lined up big releases like Judwaa 2 and  Yash Raj Films’ Sui Dhaaga and now the 30-year-old actor has confirmed his next with Piku director Shoojit Sircar. What peaked our interest us about the film is its title. The movie will be called October. Sounds interesting, doesn’t it?

Varun shared the news on his Instagram account and wrote “I have been an ardent fan of Shoojit da’s work and have always wanted to work with him. The film is titled October. Soojit da Ronnie and Juhi have always made good cinema I’m very lucky to get a chance to work with them.”

This the first time Shoojit Sircar and Varun will be working together. The film is reported to be a dark and gritty film. While speaking about the film Shoojit in an interview said “It is not a love story but his take on love. It’s again an out-of-the-box kind of story. ” Adding to it he says, “it is a very unusual, unconventional kind of a story in the slice-of-life and romance space”.

This will be the second time Varun will be playing a dark character. The first time he portrayed a dark role was in Sriram Raghavan’s Badlapur. Varun will start shooting for this film in Delhi in September.
