Vidya Balan walks out of Kamal Das’ biopic!

Vidya Balan has already started prepping up for her upcoming biopic based on the life of controversial author-poet Kamala Das, titled ‘Aami’. But recent reports suggest that the actress has walked out of the film because of creative difference between her and the director of the film.

A source close to Balan said, “Vidya likes to spend some time with the director and writers as part of her prep before starting a film. It wasn’t happening with this one. Also, she wasn’t happy with the final script.”

Vidya’s spokesperson also confirmed the news. Previously, in an interview with a leading daily Vidya had said, “I read her autobiography, she intrigued me. I’m still wondering if she was who she’s made out to be, pretending to be her or misunderstood, hoping to get some answers at some point during the film.”

Vidya is also working on two projects, ‘Begum Jaan’ and ‘Tumhari Sullu’!
