RJ Malishka to debut opposite Vidya Balan!

After Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Vidya Balan will be seen in the avatar of an RJ in her next Tumhari Sulu, once again. The movie in question will be directed by Suresh Triveni.

In this film, Sulu (Balan) lands herself an unexpected job of an RJ, who anchors a late-night show, known for its voyeuristic quality and semi-adult shenanigans. In this Suresh Triveni directorial, we will also see Manav Kaul and Neha Dhupia.

But, here’s something which will be very exciting to see. This movie will also show Red FM’s most beloved Radio Jockey, Malishka Mendonsa making her Bollywood debut as a Radio Jockey.

This won’t be the first time that Malishka and Balan will be collaborating, as Malishka had trained Vidya Balan in the past for her role as an RJ for Rajkumar Hirani‘s Lage Raho Munna Bhai.

In response, an overwhelmed Malishka stated “Vidya and I are back in each other’s lives. I was delighted to receive a call from Atul (Kasbekar) and Tanuj (Garg) to be a part of this beautiful fun film. I hope for a lifetime of brushes with cinema because I am a performer. I’ve always wanted to act and God knows that I lose no opportunity to be one in front of the people that know me or on stage. But to be able to do a film with an actor of such substance is a privilege. I cannot wait to rock and roll.”
