Well, this surely comes as a big relief for the whole team!
During the shooting of the film, there were rumours that there will be a dream sequence between Khilji and Rani Padmavati in the film. However, the makers have clarified that there is no such scene in the film. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali recently even released a video where he clarified the same.
Padmavati is based on the legend of Rani Padmini, a Hindu Rajput queen, mentioned in Padmavat, an Avadhi language epic poem written by Sufi poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi in 1540.
The film stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor as Maha Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Sultan Alauddin Khilji.
Padmavati is slated to relase on December 1.
