Not Anil Kapoor or Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff to replace Nana Patekar in Housefull4?

We reported yesterday that Anil Kapoor or Sanjay Dutt would be replacing Nana Patekar in Housefull 4, but now another report suggests that Jackie Shroff, who also starred in the last film of the franchise, may be finalized for the part. The makers are keen to have him on board for the role. The details of the same are yet to be revealed but given it’s an out-and-out comedy, we can expect a hilarious character.

A source says, “Naseeruddin Shah was also approached for the role after Nana’s exit the film, but he declined it. Now, Jackie dada is playing that part. He will shoot his scenes as scheduled. The few scenes that Nana had done will be re-shot later.” 

The film is scheduled to release on Diwali 2019, but given the controversies it has been surrounded by after Sajid Khan and Nana Patekar’s exit, chances are it may be postponed. Let’s see what lies in the fate of this comedy!
