Karan Johar to launch 3 new faces this year!
Karan Johar received a lot of love from all around the globe on the occasion of his birthday. His humble abode was crowded with the who’s who of Bollywood and a tonne of gifts during his 45th birthday celebrations. So, it was quite natural to be expecting a return gift from him.
Turns out, that return gift came in the form of his confession during a Facebook live session with his favourite, Alia Bhatt on the occasion of his birthday. During a round of 45 questions that were asked by the star kid, he was asked “Are you planning to introduce any new faces in your films like how you did for Student of the Year?”, to which he gave a sly smile and replied “Yes! Three faces coming up this year. Very soon. We’ll be at a theatre near you. Keep watching.”
Although this confirmation from the debut daddy of Bollywood is bound to give rise to a LOT of speculations, we are placing our bets on Sara Ali Khan and Jhanvi Kapoor to be the two out of three. It’s a no-brainer that one of them (or maybe both?) will feature in Student Of The Year 2.
On the other hand, we have been hearing for quite some time now that KJo is planning a Hindi remake of the hit Marathi film Sairat. Well, If the film is really on the cards, this film might just have space for a new Bollywood candidate. I mean, who knows, right?
