Jhanvi and Ishaan to debut in Bollywood with this movie!

Ever since Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s little brother, Ishaan Khattar have been making appearances together on various occasions, there have been speculations that they will make their debut in Bollywood together. Apart from being involved professionally, a lot has been written about their personal involvement as well.

Turns out, Karan Johar and Team Dharma were working on a film which would mark the beginning of the Bollywood careers of these two star kids.

Remember there were speculations about Karan Johar planning to do a Hindi remake of the Marathi blockbuster Sairat? Turns out, it’s actually happening and will see Ishaan and Jhanvi making their Bollywood debut as the leads in the film.

The movie will be directed by Shashank Khaitan, the one who helmed Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya and Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya in the past, which had Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.

The music of the movie will be composed by Ajay-Atul, the ones who composed the music for Dharma Productions’ Agneepath. An official announcement from the team is awaited.

Karan Johar, during a Facebook Live session on his birthday, had announced that he will be launching three new faces this year. Now that we know two of the faces being part of a single project, it could be safely assumed that the third face will be a part of Student Of The Year 2.
