Irrfan khan’s next to have live recorded music! Read more
Actor extraordinaire Irrfan Khan can indeed be termed as one of those personalities who has put India on the global map. Along with Indian cinema, he has made a mark in the American and the British cinematic industries as well. What we know so far is that he has been working on his passion project “The Songs Of Scorpions” for a while now.
The film is being shot from the eyes of Anup Singh, in which the Jurrasic World actor plays a camel trader. The film in question also stars actress/musician Golshifteh Farahani. The film caters to the international-Indian superstar’s desires of working in a musical, in order to suffice his musical desires and grow his fondness in that area, as declared by him in 2013. He began working on this project two years later.
This film is very close to Irrfan’s heart. Not only because it satisfies his craving for understanding music better (perhaps even playing a musical instrument), but the movie in question is based in Rajasthan, the place where the dynamic Khan belongs.
In order to give it a Rajasthani flavour, two of the seven movie soundtracks have been recorded by live inhabitant musicians on the deserts of Jaisalmer. The scenes include locals and has been shot under freezing temperatures. What a treat for Irrfan, we must say. This project consists a mix of passion and reminiscing nostalgia for our witty Khan.
While we cannot wait for his passion project come to life, the international legend has already lined up his next project Hindi Medium for us, which is scheduled to release on the 12th of May.
