Aishwarya Rai Bachchan asked for a bold role in ADHM

Aishwarya’s bold avatar in Karan Johar’s ADHM has surprised many. The actress is looking absolutely gorgeous. After movies like Jazba and Sarabjit it was very refreshing to see Aishwary as a hottie onscreen. A source close to the project revealed, “When Aishwarya was approached for the role the makers had kept a mild script, but on reading her part she felt it was incomplete. Aishwarya felt that by keeping her character tame the makers were killing it. Aishwarya demanded that script be made bolder. She felt that the character will be more relatable. It was only after this suggestion from Aishwarya the team started working for steamy sequences in the film.” The buzz is that the Bachchan family wasn’t too pleased with the ADHM trailer and felt it was too bold. However, Amitabh Bachchan clarified in an interview that there was no such issue and insisted that he had not seen the trailer at the time of his interview. Aishwarya’s hot makeover is working wonders for the movie. In fact her chemistry with Ranbir Kapoor is amazing and people cannot stop gushing about how lovely the two look together. Aishwarya plays Shah Rukh Khan’s ex-wife and a failed Urdu poet in the movie who finds companionship in Ranbir’s character.
