2.0 Becomes Highest Grossing Movie Of 2018, Beats Padmaavat & Sanju

When it is was announced that there would be a sequel to Rajinikanth’s film, Robot there was a lot of buzz amongst his fans and fellow movie watchers.

2.0 released on 29th November 2018 and was expected to break all kinds of records as the movie features legendary actor Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar who is by far the most versatile actor in Indian cinema in this day and age. Akshay for the first time portrayed the bad guy and was loved by the people.

With a very unique story and top-notch VFX director, Shankar showed the world that India too can make such films. Now coming to the box-office collections the movie now has collected a whopping 620 crores worldwide which means it has surpassed the business of Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju and Ranveer Singh’s Padmaavat.
