SRK, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar: Vote for the best actor of 2017
2017 has not been soo good in terms of Box office numbers. This year many high budget movies failed at the box office whereas small budget films shined bright. Apart from this, we saw some good performance by many actors but which actor impressed us the most? Here’s a list of our nomination for the best actor of 2017
Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan appeared in two movies his year- Raees and Jab Harry Met Sejal. Both the roles were way different from each other. In Raees he was seen as the bootlegger while in Jab Harry Met Sejal he was seen as a tourist guide. He very well delivered his dialogues in Raees and his trademark dialogue Baniye Ka Dimaag, Miyan Bhai Ki Daring became a hit among everyone.
Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik Roshan won everyone hearts as Rohan Bhatnagar in the revenge drama Kaabil. Hrithik played the role of a visually impaired person and his performance received a lot of appreciation from everyone.
Salman Khan
Salman Khan appeared in Tubelight as Laxman Singh Bisht. Set in the 1962 Sino-Indian War, Tubelight did not make a mark at the box office but Salman Khan’s performance was appreciated in the film.
Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar too gave us two hit movies this year. His first film was Jolly LLB 2 and the second was Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Both the films had a social message in it and both the movies were appreciated by the audience. Both Jolly LLB 2 and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha managed to enter the 100 crore club.
Varun Dhawan
Varun Dhawan appeared in two movies this year. First, he was seen in Badrinath Ki Dulhania and then in Judwaa 2. In Badrinath Ki Dulhania he was seen opposite Alia Bhatt, whereas in Judwaa 2 he was seen stepping into the shoes of Salman Khan from Judwaa. Both the films performed well at the box office.
Ajay Devgn
Ajay Devgn was seen in Baadshaho and Golmaal Again. Both the films were of different genres. While Baadshaho had Ajay in a fierce action avatar, in Golmaal Again he was taking us on a fun ride. While Baadshaho failed to make a mark at the box office, Golmaal Again is considered as one of the highest grosses of 2017.
Rajkummar Rao
Looks like Rajkummar Rao had a busy year. He appeared in five movies- Trapped, Behen Hogi Teri, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Newton, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana and a web series Bose: Dead/Alive. He was even seen doing a cameo in Raabta in which he played a 324-year old Muraaki ruler named Muwaqqit. His performance in all the movies was appreciated a lot. His film Newton was also selected as the Indian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 90th Academy Awards.
