Deepika Padukone had a fantastic 2018, both professionally and personally. She had a gigantic blockbuster in the form of Padmaavat in January and finally tied the knot with her long-time beau, Ranveer Singh, in November. This is why she has been able to beat the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar and grab the No.1 spot on the Top 10 Stars of 2018 on IMDb (Internet Movie Data Base). 1. Deepika Padukone

As stated above, she has all the reasons to be at the No.1 spot, and deserves to be at the top too!

2. Shah Rukh Khan

Since he announced his upcoming film Zero with that hilarious promo in January itself, people have been curiously waiting to watch what lies in the film. His role of Bauua Singh, who’s vertically challenged, kept the actor in the limelight for the whole year and now the movie is only two days away from its release.

3. Aamir Khan

Thugs Of Hindostan was one of the most keenly anticipated films of 2018. Aamir’s union with Amitabh Bachchan was the talk of the town everywhere. Even though the film fizzled on its second day itself, it still managed to bring Mr. Perfectionist on the third spot.

4. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

She only had one release this year- Fanney Khan. The film tanked, but thanks to her debut on Instagram, she created quite a buzz online and now is comfortably placed on No. 4!

5. Salman Khan

Had Race 3 been a better film, Bhai could have found a better rank, alas, what had to happened, happened! But as long as he’s hosting Bigg Boss, he’ll always be on the list of any feature that involves Bollywood actors.

6. Katrina Kaif

She had an inconsequential role in Thugs, but promises to give the viewers a great time with Zero, and given the release of these two massive films in the same year, that too with two of the biggest stars, Kaif finds a place at No. 6!

7. Kubra Sait

2018 has also been the year of web-series. Netflix and Amazon rose to unprecedented success and popularity and how! The biggest show of the year was Sacred Games, and Kubra Sait’s fantastic portrayal of Kukoo won her rave reviews all over. And she’s now at the No.7 spot!

8. Irrfan Khan

He had three releases this year, but what kept him in the news was his tumor that shocked all his fans! The actor has been undergoing a treatment in London for almost a year now, but reports suggest he has recovered and planning to return to India to complete his professional commitments. He bags the 8th position and we cannot wait for him to entertain us again with his films and performances.

9. Radhika Apte

The actress who experienced her best year yet, Apte starred in four Netflix originals and three feature films, and all emerged as successes. She truly deserves to be on this list!

10. Akshay Kumar

It’s surprising that Kumar, who starred in films like Pad Man, Gold and 2.0, is on the last position. The Rajinikanth starrer Sci-Fi is smashing records left, right and center. He is doing four films in 2019, and we hope he jumps to a better rank.
