Ever since Varun Dhawan made his grand debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year, he has been reigning on the box office like we have seen no other actor who is as young as Dhawan Jr. in the industry.

But, what really made the Sui-Dhaaga star join the big bad world of cinema? Dhawan finally gave an answer to that!

Speaking to his fans on Twitter, when a user asked him about his first thoughts during the time he was about to take up acting as a profession, he said that, “I just wanted to act… just wanted to do things in acting others haven’t. (I) wanted to explore parts of cinema no one has,”

Speaking about whether being in a comedy space is more difficult or that of a serious one, he said that, “Actually comedy is very difficult cause I have to try and be funny in new ways now.”

Additionally, speaking about whether VD would ever want to work with his Judwaa 2 co-star Taapsee Pannu, he said that, “Yeah! for sure she is doing such interesting work. Always pushing the envelope she is a lot of fun and very hard working,”

Speaking about where the shoot of his first ever period drama, Kalank is at, he said that, “I will shoot next month now… We (are) done with two big schedules… Really excited about it,”
