Tamannaah steps into Kangana’s shoes for Tamil remake of Queen!

‘Queen’ defied stereotypes, unraveled the dirty truth of society and showed us what a fun place Paris is – even for a single woman! The film had beauty, fun and humour written all over it. While Kangana Ranaut’s incredible charm only added to the brilliant storyline the plot of the film is a memorable one.

Now, this brilliant film is being adapted into Kollywood with Tamannaah Bhatia playing the lead aka Rani Mehra! The movie will be directed by popular actor-filmmaker Revathi and Suhasini Mani Ratnam will be writing the dialogues for the film.

Tamannaah felt liberated when she watched the film herself as this movie was one of those rare women focused films who got the message across without being blatantly loud. ‘Queen’ was a film that was successful in reaching every section of society.

The ‘Baahubali’ actress believes that Queen is going to be more of an adaptation rather than a remake as a lot of elements need to be change to suit Tamil sensibilities.
