STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2 TRAILER: Will this sequel be worth a watch?

The trailer of Student of The Year 2 has just dropped in and we are wondering whether the sequel will have the essence and the entertainment of the first part. The earlier film, directed by Karan Johar, introduced Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra, and escalated them to the skies of stardom. This one stars Tiger Shroff in the lead with two debutantes- Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday, and both the ladies are brimming with charm and confidence.

As far as the trailer is concerned, it seems the film is going to follow the same template as the first film did- Abundance of Glamor, Glittery Frames and lavishly mounted songs. Have a look at the trailer right here:-

Now, the question is- Will this sequel be worth a watch? Given the leading man’s massive popularity and the ability to attract the masses, it’s likely to be a much bigger hit than the previous one, which made over 70 crores at the box-office. This could score a century! All set to release on May 10, we expect this Punit Malhotra directorial to be worth a watch, if not great cinema!
