PadMan song: Saale Sapne shows the inspiring journey of Akshay Kumar of becoming a superhero

Here’s the latest track Saale Sapne from the much-awaited film PadMan featuring Akshay Kumar in the central character. The inspiring track crooned by Mohit Chauhan showcases the struggling journey of Akshay aka Padman of becoming a superhero. The lyrics of the song is written by Kausar Munir, while the music is composed by Amit Trivedi.

In the earlier interview with a leading daily, when Akshay was asked about featuring in the film, which talks about menstruation, he replied, “If you change nothing, nothing will change. It’s not about being bold, but about breaking taboos that hold us back. I have lived with women all my life, yet I have learned more about the topic while making this film than ever before. I do not mind who I offend or whose stomach I turn by being bold, this is not the Stone Age; menstruating is natural.”

PadMan which is helmed by R. Balki also features Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in key roles. The film is set to hit the screens on January 25, 2018, and will lock horns with Padmaavat at the box office.
