Half Girlfriend’s new song is messed up!

The new song from Mohit Suri’s upcoming film Half Girlfriend is out and quite a lot is being spoken about it. The song is titled ‘Mere Dil Se’ and is sung by Veronica Mehta and Yash Narvekar. The song is penned down by Rishi Rich.

The 2 mins 30 sec long music video is extremely basic and does not introduce any new element to the story. The song is an upbeat remix and has an EDM vibe to it yet looks like a very poor fit in.

It looks like very little effort is put in making the video as the visuals don’t match the song at all. Another loophole is that the song confuses the viewer as Arjun who has a Bihari accent in the film is seen fluently singing the song. (Yes, he says Half Girlfriend instead of Haap Girlprhand)

We think a lot more could have been done with the video but the makers stuck to the monotony of New York streets and college basketball court.
