Dhadak, Soorma or Vishwaroop 2, which was the trailer of the day?

11^th June, 2018 would be remembered as one of the busiest days in the lives of entertainment journalists and paparazzi. Not one or two but three big trailers dropped on social media today. The first one was Dhadak, starring Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor, produced by Karan Johar and directed by Shashank Khaitan. A remake of the Marathi blockbuster, Sairat, the trailer received a big thumbs up from the B’ Town celebs and Twitteratis as well, who praised the chemistry of the leads and the vibrancy of the state of Rajasthan captured by the director.

The second one was Soorma, directed by Shaad Ali and starring Diljit Dosanjh and Taapsee Pannu. A biopic on India’s legendary hockey player, Sandeep Singh, the trailer was a perfect blend of humor and inspiration. Unarguably the greatest comeback story in sports history, Soorma trailer gave us major Goosebumps!

Last but not the least, Kamal Haasan’s much-awaited and mega-ambitious Vishwaroop II, which will finally release on the 10^th of August, 2018. Not a lengthy one, but the trailer had some breath-taking action and Haasan in his heroic mode, not to forget the glimpse of his effeminate avatar of a dance teacher, that he showcased in the earlier film as well.

All in all, today was a mixed bag for all film aficionados, romance, sports and terrorism, all packed into one single day! Which is your pick?
