ZINGAAT SONG: Junta chooses Sairat over Dhadak
Dhadak has been in the news ever since the trailer dropped in. Most of the people, who are known as trolls, unleashed havoc on Karan Johar, the producer of the film, and the lead pair, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, for ruining a classic like Sairat. If that wasn’t enough, the makers dropped the Hindi version of the blockbuster song, Zingaat, and all hell broke loose again. The Twitteratis were quick to dismiss the remixed version and unanimously choose the original. Have a look at some reactions right here:-

Just saw both the Zingat songs. Original one is so refreshing and subtle. @karanjohar has ruined the song totally. ☺
Disliking it on YouTube. 😒 #zingaatRuined

Should we call this as a trend, an obsession or a collective and creative bankruptcy? Every now and then we have a classic either being paid homage to or remixed or re-created. In the name of inspiration, we are doing nothing but reflecting the lack of ideas or sheer hard-work of creating an original piece of work.
Dhadak is all set to release on July 20, and going by the response so far, it seems social media won’t be lenient to the film either.
