ZERO: Shah Rukh Khan’s film is likely to create history in Pakistan!

Shah Rukh Khan is just a week away from the release of his next film, Zero. If not the most ambitious and audacious, this is easily one of his bravest characters yet. Fans in India are waiting to witness what the entire team has created for the audience. However, he is SRK, and his stardom knows no bounds! He may have never acted in any International film but he is a Global Icon. And his popularity extends to our neighboring nation, Pakistan, as well.

This is likely to be the actor’s biggest release in that country and trade experts are expecting a historic weekend during Christmas. Fan and Dilwale’s business may have been underwhelming in India but did massive business there. Both collected over 5 and 21 crores respectively in the first three days of their release which was anything but minuscule. Girish Johar and Amul Mohan, two known trade analysts are assured this is going to bring a smile to the distributors and producers’ faces.

Johar said, “It’s going to the biggest release for SRK in Pakistan. 8 years back, Don released and earned around 7 crores. I am sure that Zero is going to surpass those numbers by a huge margin. The film is creating a buzz as it’s the first time people will get to SRK playing the role of a dwarf. The movie is getting a wide release and huge numbers can be expected.”

Mohan also has his confidence sealed on the film, “The screen count in Pakistan is increasing. I guess there are 110 screens now. They will get to see Shah Rukh Khan’s film which is highly anticipated. The opening will be phenomenal. It should be in the range of Bajrangi Bhaijaan as there’s a craze of SRK in Pakistan fans,” says the analyst.

Will the film live up to the thunderous expectations?
