WOW! Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone reunite for YRF’S next

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are not only one of the most admired, loved and popular couples in Tinsel Town, but also extremely compatible and successful as an on-screen pair. After scoring a hat-trick of blockbusters such as Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, the duo is reportedly confirmed for YRF’s next as well.

There’s no confirmation as to what the genre of the film will be but the Yash Raj head honcho, Aditya Chopra, is very keen to have the two actors on board. Singh has already collaborated with YRF multiple times in films like Band Baaja Baaraat, , Kill Dill and Gunday, to name a few. Even though, Ranveer’s last film with the production house, the Aditya Chopra-directorial Befikre, may have received an underwhelming response at  the box-office, the filmmaker’s faith in the actor seems intact.

Deepika, on the other hand, has worked with Mr. Chopra in films like Bachna Ae Haseeno and Lafangey Parindey.

We all have to wait till there’s an official confirmation about the news but if it’s true, it’ll be refreshing and exciting to see the two of them in a modern romantic drama or comedy, as we have only seen them in emotionally exhausting and heart-wrenching films based in the past.

But, it looks like the film in question will take some time to take off, since the Piku star is currently working on Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rani whereas Ranveer is pre-occupied with Simmba, Gully Boy and 83’. Also, if reports are to be believed, they have a wedding to plan!
