Will we ever see a biopic on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan? The actor answers!
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and talented actresses of Bollywood. The actress who won the Miss World title in 1994 made her acting debut with Mani Ratnam’s Tamil flick Iruvar and then went to star in many Bollywood hits.
While talking to a leading daily about her entry into films, the actress said, “I was an architecture student who chanced upon a beauty pageant after which everything changed. Films seemed to be the next step and when you get your first film offer from Mani Ratnam, who’s so revered and respected, you don’t say no.”
As 2018 saw ‘Sanju’, the biopic based on the life of Sanjay Dutt, viewers are keen to watch more films based on Bollywood actors. And one such will be definitely on Aishwarya. On being asked about it, the ageless beauty replied, “I haven’t thought about it. Maybe I’m a bit shy to react to that, but yes, at some point, I would like to explore it. But I’m not sure if I should be penning a book on myself.”
She further added, “It’s important to share your story as it is. I’d rather have it closer to reality than otherwise. I will think about having a biopic made on myself at some point for sure. If my life makes for a great story to tell or watch on screen then why not! But right now, there are no such concrete discussions.”
On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in ‘Fanney Khan’ along with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao .The actress will be next seen in ‘Gulab Jamun’ opposite hubby Abhishek Bachchan.
