Will Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol & Rani Mukerji open Koffee With Karan 6?

Ever since Karan Johar started his famous talk show, Koffee With Karan, Shah Rukh Khan always graced the couch, except for the fourth season. But just like most of the times, it seems the actor is going to be the first guest of the sixth season as well. And accompanying him will be his Kuch Kuch Hota Hai co-stars, Kajol and Rani Mukerji.

This would be a perfect Blast from the Past as the trio also opened the second season of the show. Talking about the sixth season, a source close to Karan Johar stated, “One may argue that the combination lacks novelty, but it scores on nostalgic value. The line-up is yet to be drawn. It’s still in the brainstorming stage. A lot of names are being tossed around and it’s too early to say.”

There were rumors that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma would be the first guests on the show but it seems the idea of bringing the two together for the first time publicly after their marriage has been put on a back burner. The chat show is likely to begin by October and it’ll be double whammy for both Karan Johar and SRK-Kajol-Rani as it marks 20 years of their collaboration, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
