Will Padmavati go up against Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma?
If reports are to believe, we are nothing more than two or three days away from the time that the makers of Padmavati will FINALLY reveal the release date of the magnum opus. But, while we are eagerly waiting for the film to have a new release date, there are the likes of Padman Akshay Kumar and Pari Anushka Sharma who are feeling the jitters about the soon to be made announcement.
We were amongst the first ones to tell you all that the film may not see the light of day until March or April next year. But, fresh reports suggest that the film might hit theatres as early as the 26th of this month (same time as Padman and Sidharth Malhotra’s Aiyaary) or February 9 (Along with Anushka Sharma’s Pari). Now that the film has been almost certified provided a few changes are made.
The release of Padmavati has scared many in the industry since the film is no less, or maybe even bigger than Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai in terms of scale. And now, looks like history might just repeat itself.
Now, we bet that KriArj Entertainment (The producers of both Padman and Pari) are feeling the same kind of jitters.
