Will Katrina Kaif star opposite Akshay Kumar in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi?

Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starred in as many as seven films in a span of just four years. It has been almost a decade since we saw them on the big screen together. However, if rumors are to be believed, they may reunite for Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. But how true is the news? This is the third name that has come out after Kareena Kapoor Khan and Pooja Hegde. So is this the final name or another mere speculation?

A source says, “Akshay will be seen in the role of ATS officer Veer Suryavanshi in this comedy-drama film. Apparently, the actress, paired romantically opposite him, will play his girlfriend and wife, a pillar of support  in a background full of corruption and intrigue. It’s a strong role and Katrina is definitely being considered as one of the options and approached for the same. It’s all very hush-hush right now till everything is finalized.”

When Shetty was asked about the same recently, he said, “It’s not true. We are still working on the script.”

The film is slated for a December release!
